English Backyard Makeover
This client adores playing ball with the family's Springer Spaniel! Was it possible to keep her large backyard, and still have a romantic English garden? Yes! I set to work designing a charming border. To create privacy and shade, I replaced her 70-foot Acacia trees with a beautiful October Glory Maple which turns scarlet in the Fall. I also designed an arbor with climbing roses in front of a new shed. Perennials and annuals grace the curving border. In Spring, pink tulips and yellow daffodils put on a show near the bench. This magical garden is almost always in bloom.
