Charm in the Garden
This lovely home needed a new planting scheme to add charm and color! Curbside, I designed a raised berm with unique perennials and annuals: English Hidcote Lavender, Salvia, Coreopsis, Helianthemum, Bellflowers, Society Garlic and Petunias. For the shady walkway, I combined Azaleas with ferns and designed new path lighting. Inside the courtyard, crimson red “Swingtime” Fuchsias and ferns combine nicely with several varieties of Lamium (Dead Nettle). Other perennials in the garden include: Viburnum Mariesii, Patty’s Purple Hebe, Daylilies, Sweet Pea shrubs, Loropetalum Razzleberry and Breath of Heaven. A Magnolia Stellata (Royal Star) creates shade in the back corner, while a Crape Myrtle shades their sunny patio.
